Succeeding at the Game of College provides a wealth of knowledge for anyone interested in higher education, especially college students. The author, Louis Vangieri, takes all his knowledge from working extensively in higher education and provides the reader with every tool they could possibly need to succeed. As a current sophomore in college, I find myself referencing this book frequently! I would highly recommend this book!

I was interested in this book for my son who is starting college next year. How great to have a handy index of questions and answers he might not even think to ask until it's too late.

Succeeding at the Game of College was a big help to me as a returning adult student. I had no idea what to expect at college. Now I have a great idea and reference this book a lot. I wanted copies for my kids and friends who are starting college, too.

"The text was infused with various inspiring and thought provoking statements and proverbs. I liked the Be Response-Able statement on page 36. You have provided ways in which a student can be responsive to their professors and the college experience. I think students will ?get-it? if they try some of the suggestions in the book." "I think you have tried to personalize the book for the student. You have provided lots of info but it is not overwhelming. The distinction between advising and registration will be helpful for students. It would be great if faculty and administrators had the same understanding of the differences." College Counselor

"I enjoyed reading your literary accomplishment! I found that your suggestions throughout the various topics were succinct, clear, direct and written in a no nonsense format. I think students have this perception of the mystery of succeeding in college. If they are not willing to put the effort in up front they will not master the game." College Counselor
